In een tentoonstelling presenteren de kunstenaars VanGerven/vanRijnberk(NL) en Norbert Attard (MT) het project “SKYrocket” dat zij samen maakten voor de Parallel Events van Manifesta 9. Te zien t/m 29 juli 2012 in the project ruimte van Gust van Dijk, Tivolistraat 22, 5017 HP Tilburg, Nederland.

De titel van de tentoonstelling zijn de twee slagzinnen van de steden Genk en Tilburg. Deze worden worden geregen. Beide steden op zo’n 75 km afstand van elkaar kennen een industrieel verleden. Voor de één steenkool, de ander textiel. Beide steden raakte in de jaren tachtig van de vorige eeuw hun industrie kwijt. Deze steden delen dus meer dan dat je in eerste opzicht zou denken.

"Iedereen-Genkt/Tilburg je bent er" are the two slogans of the two cities that are forged together. Both towns just about 75 km apart, have an industrial past. For one coal, the other textiles, both cities lost their industries in the eighties of last century. These cities share more than you may think at first sight.
