Taxi Détour is an exceptional transportation service, providing a memorable journey between Maastricht and Genk. Taxi Détour acts as a time capsule, in which motion in space becomes motion in time as well.
Rebecca Anna Tess, Thomas Kilpper, Nora Schutz, Vincent Vulsma, Henrik Olesen, Wolfgang Breuer, Nine Budde, Sophie Reinhold and Yorgos Sapoutznis are connected by the German artists’ residence 'Villa Romana' in Florence.
The exhibition is organised owing to the Aachen Art Prize 2012, which this time is awarded to Phyllida Barlow. She will show seven new works especially created for the space.
