STEEN.slag ‘relives’ Winterslag. The map shows special places in the cité and locates new initiatives concerning the mining heritage. It shows the landscape of mining history and its three signature traits: geology, landscape and architecture. The spoil tip functions as a leitmotif.
Klaman gives former miners the chance to tell their stories, to add them to the official history of Genk.
